2. General information
We process personal data exclusively within the framework of legal regulations, in particular the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
3. Hosting and server logs
Our website is operated on servers of IP-Projects GmbH & Co. KG, Am Vogelherd 14, 97295 Waldbrunn. Technical access data is processed to provide and secure the website. This may include IP address, time of access, address accessed, referrer, browser, operating system and amount of data transferred.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and misuse-protected operation of the offer. Log data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and there are no legal obligations to the contrary.
4. Registration and customer account
A customer account is required to use the WordPress offer. Depending on usage, we process in particular:
- First and last name
- Company and sales tax identification number
- Billing and contact address
- E-mail address and optional telephone number
- Encrypted stored access data
- Language and account settings
- Contract, tariff, invoice and payment status
The processing takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures and to fulfill the contract in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR. We also process invoice and booking data that is required to be retained by law in accordance with Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
5. Email confirmation and system messages
We use your email address for account verification, password reset, contract-related messages, invoices, security notifications and important license information. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR. Technically required shipping and delivery information is only stored for as long as it is necessary for shipping, error analysis and proof.
6. Support and ticket system
In the case of a support request, we process the contact details you provide, the content of the request, attachments and necessary technical information. The processing takes place to execute the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR or due to our legitimate interest in processing other inquiries in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
7. License management and plugin updates
To activate, check and manage a WordPress license as well as to provide updates, Warranty Label processes in particular the license key, assigned shop domain, activation status, tariff, plugin version, time of request and technically required connection data. This processing is necessary to provide the booked service and is carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Product, manufacturer and warranty data that you maintain in the plugin remains in your WordPress installation. They will not be transmitted to Warranty Label unless this is expressly required for a support request initiated by you.
8. Payment processing via Stripe
We use Stripe for paid WordPress plans. The regular provider for customers in the European Economic Area is Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. The information required for payment processing is transmitted to Stripe. Complete card or account details are not stored on our servers.
The processing is carried out to fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR and, as far as booking data is concerned, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Further information can be found in Stripe's privacy policy.
9. Shopware Store
The Shopware product is offered in the official Shopware store. There is only an external link included on our website. Only when you access this link will you leave warranty-label.eu. The respective operator of the Shopware store is responsible for the subsequent processing.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use technically necessary cookies and browser local storage to provide login, language, security and your privacy preferences. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b or Letter f GDPR and Section 25 Paragraph 2 TDDDG.
Optional statistical or marketing services may only be activated with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time using the cookie settings with effect for the future. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 Paragraph 1 TDDDG.
